Readying

Winter quarter is in full swing and I am counting down the days until my departure to London. Since my first study abroad orientation, I have been busy with many small preparatory tasks, such as purchasing study abroad insurance, getting my international student identification card, filling out too many forms and obsessively reading/watching anything about the Sherlock Holmes stories and BBC's Sherlock.

Ahem.. what? No, I didn't mention Sherlock Holmes. But you since you bring it up... yes, I am hoping to visit the 221b Baker Street museum.

Along with many many other places, of course. Once I finish my list of places to visit, I will publish it here.

My intended departure date is March 19th. There is a two day orientation in London (March 22-23) and then classes start on March 26th. During the middle of the trip, there is a break for travel/touristy purposes (April 23-27). Hoping to visit Brontë country that week. Or France. My last day of class is June 1st and I leave London on June 2nd.

I get at least one June day in London. My Mrs. Dalloway day. Although we are studying Mrs. Dalloway in one of my London classes. And that will be absolutely brilliant.

Every completed detail makes me feel a bit closer to leaving. And I am very excited.
